Volunteer Opportunities

Face the Challenge teams generally travel two-three times a year, usually in the Spring and Fall. Team size averages 6-15 members. Specialists needed most of all are experienced facial surgeons, anesthesiologists/nurses anesthetists, peri-operative registered nurses (circulators, scrubs, recovery room, surgical ward, critical care), and surgical technologists/assistants. Current licensure/certification, passport, and related immunizations are a must. Volunteers must also be stable, in good to excellent health!

Face the Challenge (FTC) was founded by Randolph (Randy) C. Robinson, MD, DDS, cranio-maxillo-facial surgeon, and his wife, Ginger Holmes Robinson, BSN, RN (cardiac and critical care). Since the late 1970's, they shared a dream to offer their medical services to the world's needy.
