"What we say others may not remember. What we do others will not forget." DR. DAVID JEREMIAH
Face the Challenge "Real Stories" are accounts of:
- conditions with which people were born,
- injuries that occurred suddenly with lasting effects,
- an infection that went unchecked leaving structural and functional damage,
- tumors that indiscriminately replicate, "taking over" the normal contours of a once-beautiful face,
- and more.
Each time our surgical teams encounter patients during their screenings, compelling "Real Stories" are heard. They are complete with dramatic, memorable images that make us want to help.
Here are a few accounts from our recent surgical trips. And as we travel yet again, of course, more Real Stories will await our focus, resources, and efforts. God willing and as always, we desire to alleviate suffering and offer hope.
